It’s always wine o’clock!
This experience is made by Winegrowing Company located at the foot of the Vesuvius volcano. Thanks to the volcanic soil and the ancient method production, the wine is 100% organic. Our proud local brand is the Lacryma Christi, literally means “Christ’s Tears from Vesuvius”.
However it is not just a taste of genuine flavours typical from our fields, but a full emotional tour into nature, history and culture. A real journey through various stages of food and wine production starting from the cultivated fruit, follows the traditional processing, then finally we get sitting at the table tasting the result of our itinerary.
An organoleptic experience that continuously stimulates our senses of smell, sight and taste, boosted by the idyllic landscape in which we are immersed. Our experience has fantastic panoramas, nature and rusticity surrounding.
A farm guide takes us to discover the traditional techniques of vine production, the characteristics, and how its origins are linked to our territory.

Lunch: Wine tasting DOP
- Lacryma Christi DOP del Vesuvio Bianco (100% Caprettone), Lacryma Christi DOP del Vesuvio Rosato (100% Piedirosso), and Lacryma Christi DOP del Vesuvio Rosso (100% Piedirosso) served as starter with local specialties: salami, provolone cheese, casatiello, bruschetta with Piennolo tomatoes on wood-baked bread.
- Lacryma Christi Riserva (80% Piedirosso and 20% Aglianico aged in French oak barrels between 18 and 24 months) served with spaghetti with Piennolo tomato and basil sauce.
- Capafresca Spumante Rosato (100% Aglianico) and White Passito IGT served with pastiera
